During the renovation of this property in the Bodensee region, all the glazing except that on the ground floor was replaced with FINEO glazing. To maintain the protection of the building, the old glazing (Butzenglas) on the ground floor was retained and FINEO glazing was placed on rails behind it on the inside facade, held in place by new wooden frames. The installation of FINEO vacuum glazing has therefore enabled this superb property to significantly increase its thermal and acoustic insulation for maximum comfort, while maintaining the protection of the building.

For this project, FINEO Hybrid was used to reach unprecedent performances in terms of thermal insulation and acoustic. Belliard street is a highly frequented road, leading to unpleasant noise pollution. Thanks to FINEO Hybrid, it was possible to achieve very high acoustical attenuation in a limited thickness, allowing to increase the space inside the building.

The Royal Observatory in Edinburgh is an emblematic listed building of the town. The old single glazings were easily replaced with FINEO insulating glazing, which, thanks to its thinness, made it possible to retain the original timber frames while improving thermal insulation. The building's authentic Scottish charm has thus been preserved.
